Who we are
DMer (dmer.co.uk) is a service of Ultimate Vision Ltd, a company in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us about anything in this policy at hello@dmer.co.uk.
What we collect about our customers
- Your name and email address, when you create an account, ask for free prospects or pay.
- If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and whether Google has verified that address. We do not get your Google password and we do not access your Gmail, contacts or files through sign-in.
- What you tell us about your business: website, goal, who you want to reach and the channels you use.
- Messages you approve, edit or reject, and replies you receive through DMer.
- Payment details are handled by Stripe. We see the payment status and the details you enter at checkout, never your full card number.
- Basic visit data (pages viewed, referring site, browser type) to understand how the site is used.
People we research for our customers
To do the work, we look at public business information: company websites, public social profiles and posts, and the Companies House register. We use it to judge whether a business fits our customer's goal and to write a relevant first message. We rely on legitimate interests for this and keep it to what a business would reasonably expect to be seen. We never buy contact lists or use private data.
Anyone who asks us not to be contacted is added to a permanent suppression list and is never contacted again through DMer. To ask, reply to any message or email hello@dmer.co.uk.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you asked for (contract).
- To send you transactional emails such as sign-in links and delivery notices (contract).
- To keep the service secure and prevent misuse (legitimate interests).
- To meet legal and tax obligations for payments (legal obligation).
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who helps us
We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:
- Our hosting provider, whose servers store the service and its database. These servers are outside the UK.
- Stripe, for payments.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- AI model providers, to help draft messages and sort replies. They receive only the text needed for that task.
- Composio, only if you connect an account such as your email so we can send on your behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. If you ask us to close it, we delete your account data within 30 days, except payment records we must keep by law. Suppression entries are kept so we never contact that person again.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to stop. Email hello@dmer.co.uk and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived one during Google sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies.
